Hanna Västinsalo
Hanna studied film directing at the American Film Institute Conservatory in Los Angeles, CA, for which she received a Sloan Foundation Fellowship after receiving a Ph.D. in molecular genetics at the University of Helsinki. Many of her works have screened at several festivals including 77th Venice International Film Festival, Aesthetica Short Film Festival, San Francisco Dance Film Festival and 360 Film Festival at SATIS Expo in Paris.
Hanna was a speaker at TEDxHelsinkiUniversity 2018, where she spoke about her passion of combining storytelling with scientific discovery.
